baby, what's in that satchel?

so leslie suggested we make a list of "top songs of the 90s" and then make a compilation cd out of our choices and swap. i thought it was a brilliant idea, and since we truly are children of the 90s - having starte formal education in 1991 and finishing in 2000 and all that - why shouldn't we have a list!

he's done his in a top 20 countdown kind of way, but i think i'll do mine chronologically .. not exactly in the year that they were released but definitely in the order that i remember listening to them in. it kindof makes sense that way. and also, some of these are way too embarrassing for me to rate as "favourites" so i don't really want to let you know how much i like them! shame on me. whatever.
