baby, what's in that satchel?

so mid-autumn festival is coming up and i had this ambitious idea of making my own snowskin mooncakes.

the paste was okay i guess

but there has to be some kind of trick to it i'm not getting because i followed the dough recipe to the letter and still, the dough was a no-show.

but never fear, girlies always persevere and tomorrow i shall try try again!
