so i'm nearing the end of my first semester in sydney! and actually i think i'm doing way better here than i was at uwa. and actually, even if grades-wise i'm not, life-wise i am. i think buttons will know what i mean when i say yew-dub is one of those confidence-shattering places.

i think the lecturers here are more confident in their intellectual abilities than they are in small-town perth so there's no need to constantly put people down in order to assert their intelligence. like the only nice lecturers at uwa are either old/went somewhere fancy for their degree/are highly qualified.

anyway, a.p. reckons it's a perth-thing. who knows.
