me: hey did you see that lady's hair? it's huge!
dad: ya i saw. she looks like a buffoon

i think he meant baboon. but it's an insult nonetheless

"buffoon" is legitimate, but strictly "dad-talk". pretty archaic.

. . . come to think of it, i say "buffoon" every now and again . . . .
