strokes to-mor-row !! i'd be more excited if my mind wasn't already filled with:

1. being a bit upset that dad threw out my lego bucket before we moved. my poor figurines! i had people and a hippo and a fox. not to mention windmills and flowers and all kinds of things. the only thing that remains is this castle that my sisters made for me once. and i kind of want to try making a mass model out of lego for the cancer centre we're doing for studio. he's said he'll get another bucket =P but it's just not the same without chaochao and his gf chaobek (stinky and stinkyrebecca)

2. this ArchitecturalTechnicalResolution unit is really shitty =( even if you keep telling yourself "architecture students learning to hand-draw ees just like a chef learning to chop veggies. eet ees a necessary skill" in this italian voice coming from a man who looks like hairy version of pingu, it doesn't help. can i please hone these hand-drawing skills some other time? thanks.

3. i decided to do my research paper on the port bouvard phenomenon because i thought it'd be fun to drive down to have a look and knock on doors etcetc. but now i am lazy. but i can't think of anything else to do. does anyone out there live or know people who live in port bouvard? i would very much like to interview you and take pictures of your house if you don't mind. or maybe you do, then i'd just like to interview you at least.

waaaah guess who is procrastinatey!!! 3 posts + 1 picture update in 2 days?! after a year and a bit of that same ole samurai bunny, i've replaced him! if you're feeling the need to know about the background on this guy, read on. otherwise, skip the bits in pink.

kurahashi takeyuki was a fine hot-tempered swordsman and performed well in the attack on the kono mansion. he had studied the floor plan of the house, wchich the yazama brothers ahd secured from yasuemon, the chief carpenter. so he knew that there were certain hidden details in its construction.
he hacked his way into moronao's bedroom just after moronao had fled, leaving a rumped bed. takeyuki felt the bedclothes and found them still warm.
he knew moronao could not have gone far, so he snagged the scroll out of the alcove and pushed on the wall it had been hanging on. it was a secret door into the garden! he charged through it and on seeing the storage shed for the garden apartments knew moronao must be there.
yazama, senzaki and takebayashi circled the shed and poured arrows into it from their hsort bows. two men ran out, and takeyuki took them on. "

now you may or may not know, but these bunnies are based on a real series of prints by kuniyoshi. the original intention was to have a collection of all 47 ronin + their wives + their chef + extras. not all of them lend themselves well to bunnification, but then if i keep working on them at this rate, i'll have the complete set by the time i'm 64! look forward to that!

this is it! the moment i have been eagerly awaiting for the past two weeks ... *drum roll* my melbourne photos! i think i've used up this month's flickr allowance too hurhur. but oh well. it's not like i'm going for another holiday anytime soon.
