portmanteau for a sunday roast that really has nothing to do with a barbeque except that the meal is consumed outdoors, approximately 2 metres away from a barbeque pit. thank you craig!

today was cafe anthrax's official disbandment, and of course auntie zoot and auntie dingo had to pick the hottest weekend in the millennium (no exaggeration) to move. and what amazing movers we are !! thanks a lot to gallian and tony for their help ^__^ 

oh and also, i got to drive a toyota hilux. FUN!!

i think if i see the phrase "happy 牛(niu) year" once more i'll go mental! 

it was mildly amusing when i saw it the first time. less so the second time. and now it's just lame. 

chinese new year in perth is never as hectic as chinese new year in singapore. we don't have a bazillion relatives to visit nor is the haul ever as big as it is in the motherland, but then we've always been good at summarising.
