so i was thinking how cool it would be to work at a cosplay/manga/anime/maid cafe. i mean i'd get to dress up, and get paid to do it. and i think the rules at such places are no touching no groping. so if anybody knows of such a place in sydney, i would be very appreciative if you let me know about it.

failing that, i think i will march up to the anime club in sydney uni and suggest opening one! moving out of home has made me feel really brave n_n

oh. my. goodness.

so i have no house yet, nor a job. so what does a girlie with no house and no job do all day? nothing much really, except trawl seek.com.au all morning and send out resumes. 

then spends the rest of the afternoon window shopping along king street because the shops are fun. to be fair, this time it was because austrian housemate christine said she wanted to go shopping so i tagged along. 

anyway, there's this clothes place two doors down that i stepped into last week. didn't buy anything but got into a conversation with the guy about op-shopping in perth. anyway today we went in again and the same guy was there and he asked me how it was going so i said "oh same ole same ole" and we talked about uni enrolment etc and then he said "so have you found a job yet?" and i said no and he said "well i'm thinking about giving up some shifts here, why don't you leave your resume?"

and i said hells yeah! so fingers crossed something comes of it. otherwise my bank account won't be looking very healthy very much longer.

hot patootie bless my soul! we just watched the rocky horror picture show performed by live actors in front of a cinema screen at the george street cinema and it was amazing! they give you rice to throw during the wedding scenes, and the cast members run through the audience and people really dress up to get into the spirit of things. and also, there were many boobs on show. some of which belonged to men. 

tonight was the last night they were performing at the george street cinemas and they don't know where their next run will be, so zoot and i are very glad that we noticed the small flyers they'd put up on lampposts etc in our neighbourhood. 

i think i really need to buy the dvd and listen to the audience participation so i know what to yell the next time we go watch it. whee! ok bedtime.
