why is your budget airline ticket to melbourne more expensive than a qantas one ?!

and the happy hour promise for low low prices on certain fares between 12pm to 1pm everyday (aussie eastern standard time) is nothing but a cruel joke! because from the MINUTE it starts .. nay, the very SECOND it starts it's like all the melbourne tickets are sold out. if you don't have the ticket to offer, at least put a "sold out" sticker or something on it. or maybe don't advertise it anymore so i can go back to bed. yes yes .. i went back to bed at 10.30. but looK! i am up again at 11.30.

i don't want to pay 600 for a ticket when everyone says "it's sooo cheeeeeap" *grumbles* 600 for a domestic flight isn't that cheap, anything under 400 is! it is possible because it has happened before obviously, otherwise people wouldn't be waxing lyrical about it right now. i will give this unhappy hour one more shot and then i'm going to qantas. and they'd better have the tickets. GRR !!

who is without a ticket to melbourne at the time of writing

so frustrating .. does anybody have lobang with a nice airline company? girlie needs a ticket to melbourne. travel dates 15th july - 22nd july .. prefer to arrive at melb in the late afternoon/early evening, and leave in the arvo. don't say jetstar ok? jetstar's airport is super far away (i've heard). unless you know a super good jetstar deal that meets all those criteria.

fantasmo! i wanted to buy all the a1 folios. but there were none =_= boo. however, i did get a nice 16 x 20inch silkscreen !! and a thinger to paint on it with (well ok stoo paid for that) .. i'll just call it a cudgel because that's the word that pops into my head when i think about it. also bought other miscellaneous stuff that may or may not be useful but who cares? it's 50% off =P
